Abstract

The process of Specification 642,370 is carried out without using a salting-out agent. The starting materials and salts obtained are the same as in that Specification, and certain of the solvents mentioned therein are specified as suitable. The modification described in that Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91, viz. addition of a second solvent and removal of the first solvent by distillation, appears in the present Specification as accepted. Examples show the crystallization of the potassium, sodium and rubidium salts, using n-butanol as solvent.
