641,859. Horticultural frames. HUMPHRIS, G. June 4, 1948, No. 15071. [Class 20(i)] A horticultural frame is formed by pivotally supporting one end of each of detachable cranked frame members 1, Fig. 1, on a horizontally supported perforated pipe 13, Fig. 3, the other end resting on the ground or wall; the ends of the frame members 1 are provided with pairs of hooks 11, 12 offset relatively and to the centre line of the member 1, and as shown in Fig. 3, the hooks 12 engage over the perforated pipe 13 supported by pillars 14 and serving to conduct water to the soil under the frame, the hooks 11 resting on the ground. Alternatively a greater space vertically may be obtained by engaging the hooks 11 on the pipe 13 supported in this case in a higher position. Legs 17 pivotally secured at one end of each frame member 1 enable the frame member to be held in a raised position for ventilation &c. purposes, the free ends of the legs engaging the ground or in loops 20 provided on the frame members.
