Abstract
639,602. Rod connections. CONCRETE DEVELOPMENT CO., Ltd. (Aktiebolaget- Betongindustri). Oct. 3, 1947, No. 26637. [Class 99(i)] Wires 1 which are preformed with indentations 2 or configurations or both, forming a series of axially spaced abutments transverse to the longitudinal axis of the wire, are anchored or joined together by a metal sleeve 3 which is deformed by pressure into interlocking relationship with the wires. The sleeve is of softer metal than the wire and may be tubular, elliptical or circular in cross-section or else in the form of a bent plate of U-shaped or other crosssection.
