639,144. Moulding with high-frequency heating. BRITISH THOMSON-HOUSTON CO., Ltd. June 2, 1947, No. 14567. Convention date, June 1, 1946. [Class 87 (ii)] [Also in Groups I, VI and XI] Food products are compressed into dehydrated food pellets by the apparatus shown in Fig. 2 having a plunger 14 and a high frequency supply, (see Group XI), whereby moisture passes through apertures 15, 16 and 17 and vapour is removed by a vacuum pump anc condenser 18. In a further embodiment Fig. 3, for moulding rubber and thermosetting resins, the heating chamber is in two parts 20, 21 connected by bolts or by quickly detachable means, and includes a plunger 24 faced with glass 25 and a glass wall 26.
