638,735. Chains. COVENTRY CLIMAX ENGINES, Ltd. April 27, 1948, No. 11553. [Class 24] [Also in Group XXX] A chain for use with a lift truck has its links 30 constructed with rectangular bases 36 so that flexure can only occur in the direction of the bases. Alternate links only need be so constructed, the remainder being circular at all four corners instead of at two corners 33 only. In a modification disclosed in the Provisional Specification only, the chain is formed from symmetrical links each having secured thereto a projection which engages a similar projection on the next alternate link.
