637,397. Hinges. PECKAT MANUFACTURING CO., C. Aug. 6, 1947, No. 21384. Convention date, June 29, 1939. [Class 65 (ii)] [Also in Group XXXII] ' An apparatus for supporting an awning in a desired position with respect to the windshield of an automobile having gutters adjacent said windshield comprises a pair of plate brackets adapted to be clamped to the gutters and a hinge carried by each member for supporting the awning. Each bracket 18 is clamped to a gutter 29 and is slotted at 34 to receive a transverse rod 14 which is attached to the top edge of the awning (see.G,roup XXXII) and pivotally supported at each end in a bracket 36 secured to the outer face of the bracket 18 by a screw 38.
