[Class 138 (ii)] The subject-matter of this Specification is identical with that described in Specification 636,528, but the claims differ. This Specification claims a combined clothes washer and extractor comprising a support rotatable about a substantially vertical axis, a clothes receptacle rotatable about an axis inclined slightly to the vertical, means for releasably holding the receptacle against rotation and means for rotating the support. The arrangement is such that so long as the receptacle is held against rotation, rotation of the support subjects the receptacle to a wobbling movement for washing, and when the receptacle is released it rotates together with the support for extraction purposes. Specification 636,592 also is referred to.
