Abstract

An adhesive for use in the manufacture of composite wooden material is rendered insecticidal by impregnation with dichlorodiphenyl trichlorethane or any other dihalogen-diphenyl-trihalogenethane. The adhesive may be hide glue, glue prepared from blood, casein or dextrin or synthetic resin glues such as phenol-formaldehyde or ureaformaldehyde.
