Abstract
635,190. Electric cookers. CLIFTON AIRCRAFT. Ltd., and LANGSTONE, W. H. April 24, 1948, No. 11310. [Class 39 (iii)] [Also in Group XXXV] Ari electric cooker has a removable framework on which are mounted its current supply conductors and most, if not all, of its circuit controlling devices. The framework, 7 to 12 inclusive, extends along the back and one side of the cooker between the oven and an outer casing. The supply conductors are of stiff material having sockets at their ends for use with terminal blocks 27, see Specification 635,189, [Group XXXVI], fitted to the oven and the cooker hot plates. Switches 18 for the hot plates are mounted on the framework and have pin-and-slot or other detachable connections for use with operating rods extending from the cooker front. A knob on the cooker front is coupled to an oven switch on the cooker frame and is associated with an adjustable thermostat 26. The removable framework is bolted or screwed to the oven sides.
