Abstract

633,101. Containers, drums, etc.; spouts. ROBINSON, G. A. March 22, 1947, No. 7898. [Classes 21 and 66] A container, drum &c has dished rectangular ends 1 peripherally secured to a bent strip or strips 2 forming the top, sides and bottom and has a spout 5 placed for easy pouring in the middle of one bend of the strip 2 so as not to project beyond,the adjacent side. The spout 5 may be protected by a handle 6 mounted parallel to and equidistant from the ends 2 or by projections or recesses. The strip 2 may be strengthened by ridges 3. According to the Provisional Specification one end or side may be smaller than the other to facilitate close stacking, the handle may be collapsable, the spout may be offset from the middle of the bend and the containers may be irregular in shape.
