Abstract

630,804. Electrically heated panels. CLIN & CIE, E. June 18, 1947, No. 16042. Convention date, May 22, 1946. [Class 39 (iii) ] A heating panel is formed from a plurality of wires 6' initially arranged in parallel but in which adjacent pairs of wires 6 are connected together at regular intervals in the manner shown in Fig. 3, the wires then being disposed between cardboard sheets. The connecting means 7 may comprise thin metal plates clamped about the wires in corrugated form or the wires may simply be twisted together at the desired points so as to finally dispose the wires as shown in Fig. 8. Any length of heating panel may be divided off by cutting along a line x 1 y 1 or x 2 y 2 . The outer outer wires 4, 5 act as current supply conductor.
