629,365. Spray-producers &c. BURNAM, T. W., and RAMSAY, G. D. June 4, 1947, No. 14816. Convention date, May 24, 1946. [Class.69 (iii)] A fog nozzle has a number of sets of orifices, each set containing three or more orifices emitting intersecting spray jets, the orifices being correlated as to crosssectional area, the angular relationship, and spacing, so that the energy-vector diagram of each set of spray jets is within limits defined in the Specification. In one embodiment a nozzle has a number of circumferentially spaced sets of orifices 3 in a tapered section 1, and further sets 4 similarly spaced in a tapered section 6.
