[Class 146(ii)] A bond for closing sacks, cases or hampers comprises a metallic wire bent substantially into the shape of a U, the two arms of the U being of substantially equal length, are very close together and are joined together at their closed end by a portion in the form of a ring or eye, the said ring or eye being closed or substantially closed. To use the bond the upper end of a sack is surrounded by the bond and the ring portion is fitted over the hook of a twisting device which is actuated with one hand while holding the two arms together with the other.
