627,669. Handles for cans. SALMON, P. L. July 30, 1947, No. 20580. [Class 66] An adjustable and detachable D shaped handle 1, for a can 6 with an inwardly flanged mouth, is made from one piece of wire parts 2 of which are bent inwardly and then outwardly to from claws 3 which hook under the mouth - flange. The ends 4 are bent downwardly and inwardly to lie along each other and are constrained, as by eyes 5, to keep parallel when slid along each other during fitting or detachment of the handle. The ends 4 may be locked in a selected position and may form a brush-rest.
