[Class 30] In a pocket knife provided with covering scales 6 moulded in a thermo-setting or thermoplastic material and keyed to foundation scales 3 in the moulding operation, the edges 5 of the foundation scales 3 are bevelled and covered by the covering-scales to lock the two together. The bevels preferably extend round the whole periphery of each of the foundation scales.
