Abstract
624,292. Impedance networks. WESTERN ELECTRIC. CO., Inc. June 27, 1947, No. 17026. Convention date, June 10, 1942. [Class 40 (viii)] A wave filter comprises a lattice network composed of four piezo-electric impedances 1, 2, 3 and 4 with a differential capacitor 11 providing two variable capacitances, one of which increases when the other decreases, these being associated respectively with two impedance branches which are adjacent to each other. In the construction shown, plates 12 and 13 are connected to impedances 1 and 4 and a movable plate 14 is connected to their junction. Variable condensers 9 and 10 and inductors 15, 16, 17 and 18 may be provided to adjust the band width. U.S.A. Specification 2,045,991 is referred to.
