Abstract

622,791. Moulds for sliding-clasp fasteners. PLASCO, Ltd. April 9, 1947, No. 9460. Convention date, Oct. 11, 1946. [Class 87 (ii)] [Also in Group XXV] The inner surfaces of the spaced walls of a slider for sliding-clasp fasteners, connected at one end by a web 15 are flared outwardly at the edges 21 to provide a funnel-shaped entrance for the fastener elements. The slider is die cast on a core comprising two parts 24, 25. The part 24 has a pair of fingers 26 shaped to form the bevelled surfaces 21 and shoulders 29 to provide free pulling of the core. The other part 25 has a V end 30 to shape the inner end of the web 15 and chamfered ends 32 fitting into the shoulders 29.
