[Class 65 (ii)] A door or the like hinge comprising a lower member 1 provided with a stud 6 rotatable and axially displaceable within a sleeve 9 forming part of or connected to an upper member 2, is characterized in that the sleeve is provided with a side aperture adapted for insertion of an adjusting member such as a ball 4. The sleeve is closed by a plug 10. In a modification the adjusting member is a disc formed with concave faces, the members 6 and 10 having correspondingly convex ends, while the aperture is in the form of a vertical slot.
