619,940. Tanks. McCULLOCH, M. L. Sept. 23, 1943, No. 15648. [Class 69 (i)] A flexible tank is built up of sections 1, 1A, in Fig. 3, secured end to end or divided into compartments by a diaphragm 2, Fig. 1, or 9, Fig. 2, composed of flexible material. The sections or diaphragms are reinforced at their edges in the neighbourhood of the join by strips of flexible material 6, 3, Fig. 1 ; 12, 10, 8, Fig. 2 ; or 17, 14, Fig. 3. The join and some of the reinforcing strips are secured by stitching, the stitching being covered by flexible strips cemented in position. Specifications 562,388 and 567,888 are referred to.
