Abstract

618,799. Condensers. GELOSO, G. Nov. 7, 1946, No. 33133. Convention date, Nov. 2, 1944. [Class 37] The rotatable spindle 4 of a rotary condenser, Fig. 1, is perpendicularly secured to a stand 6 by a spring 10 inserted between the stand 6 and a shoulder 7 of the spindle 4 and by a washer 9 disposed on the opposite face of the stand and in engagement with a groove 81 formed in the spindle 4, the action of the spring on the spindle causing the washer to be firmly pressed against the stand. The spring maintains the spindle at any angular position, and it is preferably made of round steel 10 bent in a plane to form two lobes as shown in Fig. 2. The washer 9, Fig. 3, is open at one side.
