[Class 17 (iii)] A shoe tree comprises toe and heel members 2, 1 respectively, connected by links 5, 6 pivoted together at 7 at their adjacent ends and at their opposite ends to the members 1, 2. One of the links has a screw threaded shank 11 which engages a screw socket in a pivot 12 on one of the members 1, 2, so as to adapt the tree to different sizes of footwear, the shank being held in adjusted position by a grub screw. A handle 9 is connected by the pivot pin 7 to the links 5, 6 and, in the extended position of the tree, its lower end engages the inside of the shoe. A pin 8 on the handle serves as a stop to the pivoting movement of the links. Holes 14 are provided in the toe member 1 to permit air to citculate in the footwear to facilitate drying.
