615,227. Watering plants &c. GLAENZER, B. R. Jan. 28, 1946, No. 2792. Convention date, July 21, 1945. [Class 6 (ii)] In injection apparatus for supplying liquid below ground level, withdrawal of the injecting needle 3 is facilitated by making it slidable with respect to its handle, relative movement being limited by stops. A swinging stirrup hanging from the foot-actuated shaft 2 engages with its end 9 between the stops 8a, 8b. The upper part 4 of the needle stem 6 slides within the stem 5 of the handle 1. Liquid is supplied either axially or laterally. Specification 606,343 is referred to.
