610,333. Ticket-issuing machines for totalizators. UNION TOTALISATOR CO., Ltd., and HANDLEY, J. Dec. 16, 1945, No. 30786. [Class 40 (i)] [Also in Group XIX] The ticket printing and issuing machine of Specifications 591,223 and 591,260, [both in Group XIX], is modified so that three " reverse forecast bets " for any three chosen competitor numbers may be registered on a single ticket. The stake row of the keyboard is provided with four extra keys 1xxx, 2xxx, 3xxx and 4xxx, Fig. 2. When such a ticket is desired, the required keys of the stake row, the first selection row and the second selection row are depressed and since the totalizator circuit is modified as shown in Fig. 2, one unit is added to the corresponding six combination aggregators and six units are added to the grand total forecast aggregator. The stake cam plate 1 of the machine of the above Specifications is modified as shown in Fig. 8 to ensure correct operation of the machine counters and the stake type wheel is provided with the necessary additional type.
