Abstract

610,291. Spring mattresses. PEDERSEN, G. V. April 8, 1946, No. 10716. Convention date, Jan. 7, 1943. [Class 52(iv)] In a surface wherein a series of parallel helical springs b spanning the frame is supported by a lower series, transversely arranged, blocks c with holes e, f at right angles to each other are provided at the points of intersection. Several pairs of such series can be connected by the use of deeper blocks as shown in Fig. 4. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 disclosed a supporting frame Fig. 5 (Cancelled, not shown), the inner periphery of which was bevelled to provide a greater free length for the springs. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
