606,700. Liquid meters. RAMSEY, A. R. J. (Brodie Co., R. N.). Dec. 21, 1945, No. 34772. [Class 69 (ii)] In a liquid meter of the type described in Specification 379,786, means are provided to eliminate compression in one end of each cylinder and the tendency to create a vacuum at the other end at the ends of the piston strokes. The means comprise auxiliary passageways J and K formed within the cylinders and pistons respectively, these passageways coming into register to form a communication between the ends of the cylinders and the outlet ports at the ends of the piston strokes.
