[Class 52(iii)] A pedestal for a display stand comprises a spheroidal body 4 rotatably mounted in a partially spheroidal metal base 2 contained within a plastic shell 1, the rotatable body 4 being made of wood and having attached to its underside a mounting plate 3a and shank 3, the latter being accommodated in one of five holes 2a formed in the base 2 such that the axis of rotation of the body 4 may be either vertical or inclined thereto in one of four directions, while a locknut 5 retains the shank 3 in the selected aperture.
