[Class 44] [ Also in Group X] A plate 13, e.g. of glass, is secured on a frame 11 by clips, each comprising a flexible strip 15, e.g. of metal, having projecting means 18 which engage with a recessed boss 14, so that as the clip is pressed into position, the ear, or ears 19 move over the pane and eventually clock over the edge thereof. In a modification, the means 18 are formed as a single wide lateral extension of the clip, the extension being engaged between opposed recesses formed in the frame itself.
