603,268. Wood-screws; screw sockets and covers. DENIES, J. P. Nov. 27, 1945, No. 31996. Convention date, Aug. 4, 1939. [Classes 89 (i) and 89 (ii)] Screws for fixing mirrors and panels of glass, marble, &c. to walls or ceilings are fitted with washers 2, Fig. 1, coned to fit the countersink in the panel and countersunk to fit the screw. The cylindrical surface of the washer is threaded to receive the cover cap 6. The washer may be integral with the screw and the panel-engaging surface may be of plane or other form.
