Abstract

601,348. Tweezers. LEVY, 13. Oct. 15, 1945, No. 26969. [Class 61 (ii)] Tweezers for plucking hairs &c. comprises a pair of gripping arms 1, 2 carried by a stem 3 slidable in a hollow stem 7 and a pair of operating arms 4, 5 coupled to the arms 1, 2 by pivoted links 9 forked at the ends to engage studs 11 such that closing of the arms 4, 5 first causes the arms 1, 2 to close and grip the hair &c. and then effects their backward movement to extract it. Reference has been directed by the Comptrollerto Specification 27958/10, [Class 61 (ii)], and U.S.A. Specifications 1,988,218 and 1,988,219.
