[Classes 97 (i) arid 98 (i)] The camera mechanism is controlled to produce single instantaneous, single " time " or kinematographic exposures by the engagement, with a projection on a control disc carried by an operating shaft of the camera mechanism, of pawls selected by rotating a control knob and operated by depressing it. As shown, the shutter blade 11 rotates in front of the aperture 19 on a shaft 10 controlled by an abutment 9 normally held by a pawl 5 releasable by the button 2. The latter is also rotatable but its elongated foot 3 bears on the pawl 5 in all positions. If this is released alone normal kinematographic exposure is effected. In one position of the knob 2 the foot 3 actuates also the pawl 12 against which the abutment 9 strikes after nearly one revolution. When the button is released the parts return to the position shown. A single exposure is thus made. In another position of the knob 2 the pawl 13 is actuated to stop the abutment 9 after half a turn when the shutter is open. Release of the button completes the exposure. In a further position of the knob 2 the foot 3 is engaged above a projection 17 to prevent accidental exposure or under it to secure continuous kinematographic exposure.
