Abstract

A hydrazine derivative is formed by reacting hydrazine hydrate with o-benzoylbenzoic acid in methanol solution. n-Amylsuccinic dihydrazide is prepared by condensing diethyl n-amylsuccinate with hydrazine hydrate. 4 - (p - Chlorophenyl) - semicarbazide is prepared by refluxing p-chloraniline with nitrourea and then refluxing the product with hydrazine hydrate.
