[Class 37] Rectifier elements are made by using not more than 1 per cent of an unstable selenium halide in powdered form with powdered selenium, fusing the mixture, repowdering and melting on to the surface of a base-plate. The halide may be selenium mono-iodide, monochloride or oxydichloride. Specifications 468,736, 472,961, 532,961 and 564,980 are referred to.
