[Class 114] An oar and scull sleeve 1 is made of a resilient material, its outer walls taper from the collar 2 to the end as shown to enable the sleeve to be readily positioned on the shaft of an oar without the use of expanders ; the extension 3 is provided to ensure sufficient mass of material for easy manipulation when fitting the sleeve which may be cemented in its final position.
