Abstract

592,968. Photograph stands. TURNER, J. R., and GLENDINNING, W. May 29, 1945, No. 13475. [Classes 52(iii) and 52(v)] A photograph stand comprises a spring clip 10 rotatably mounted in recesses 9 in bearings 8 which are fastened by screws 7 to a base 6, the clip gripping two sheets 12 between which a photograph &c. is held. Pips 13 increase the friction between the clip and the bearings, and lips may be provided on the edges of the clip. In accordance with modifications (not shown) the ends of the clip may be provided with spindles which are fastened in the bearings; and one bearing only may be used, the clip being pivoted vertically therein and the base being fastened to a wall.
