Abstract
A support for insertion in a physiological duct during suture is formed of glucose of purity prescribed by the British Pharmacopaeia, and is tubular, or cylindrical, but having one or more deep grooves throughout its length. The glucose may contain an antiseptic such as a sulphonamide, penicillin or heparin.
