[Class 132 (ii)] Apparatus for facilitating the drawing of competition entries, comprises one or more elongated containers 12 divided into a number of compartments each adapted to receive loosely a counter or disc 11. Each container has a slidable bottom 13 extending between side bars 14 connected to a front support 15. The side bars slide between side members 6 of adjacent containers and are connected by a bar 16 adapted to contact a pin 17 to limit the extent of opening movement of the bottom., The pin 17 can be inserted in any one of a series of holes provided in one of the side members of each container, one adjacent each compartment. The containers are mounted in a box 9 provided with a drawer 20 open at the bottom and filled with a bag 21 covered by resilient flaps 22 of opaque material. The bag is maintained in a collapsed condition by a flexible metal strip 23. If, for example, there are 26 entries, the pin 17 is inserted in the hole numbered 26 and the bottom 13 slid open to deliver 26 discs. These fall on to the flaps 22 which deflect to allow the discs to enter the bag and then spring back into position to conceal the discs from view when the drawer is removed. The box 9 is provided with a removable lid 24 having deep flanges 24a which prevent movement of the bottoms 13 when the apparatus is not in use. When it is desired to draw counters from the bag to determine the order of play, the lid is placed in an inverted position and the drawer 20 supported on the flanges with the bag hanging down inside the lid. The counters, Fig. 5, are numbered consecutively, one being allowed to each player, and each counter is marked with an indication of the number of matches and byes necessary to enable the competition to be played out to a final. According to the Provisional Specification, the lid 24 may be hinged to the box.
