[Class 46] In a press cage for an extrusion press for use in repressing oils or aqueous liquids, of the type in which a horizontal screw is used, two or more portions of the cage lining are covered by or attached to two or more support members or assemblies of support members at least one support member or assembly being as shown, jointed by a hinge member to an adjacent support or assembly, bosses 10a, 10b on the two halves respectively of a press cage are mounted on a hinge member 11 which is supported at each end and may be withdrawn for removal of the cage from the press.
