Abstract

588,407. Drying fabrics. JELLINEK, C. M. M. April 16, 1945, No. 3932. [Class 34 (i)] A suction hydro-extractor for the treatment of textile fabrics comprises a tube A through which the fabric D is drawn in rope form by a winch E. The lower half of the central section of tube A is perforated and surrounded by an airtight sleeve C communicating with a suction line B. Alternatively slots may be employed in place of perforations and two suction lines may communicate with separate apertures on each side of the central section of tube A.
