588,398. Adjustable work - tables. HICKSON, H. A. Feb. 15, 1945, No. 3787. [Class 97 (iii)] [Also in Groups XXII and XXIII] A work-table is formed with a top unit 5 having depending parts located between the upstanding parts 2 of a base unit 1, a shaft 4 being integral with the depending parts and rotatable in the upstanding parts, with means for tilting the top unit. The shaft 4 carries at one end a sector of a worm-wheel 10 which engages. a worm 11 mounted between brackets secured to one wall 2. A graduated dial on the worm-shaft indicates the angularity of the table, which is secured in position by bolts through the walls of the base. A second graduated dial is located on the shaft 4 on the reverse side of the table.
