Abstract
582,642. Resilient mountings. DUNLOP RUBBER CO., Ltd., and TROBRIDGE, G. W. July 29, 1944, No. 14517. [Class 108 (iii)] A resilient bush is made by vulcanizing and bonding a rubber filling. 3 to concentric metal sleeves 1, 2 and deforming one of the sleeves to counteract the tension in the rubber, preferably while the bush is still hot. The outer sleeve may be contracted by forcing the bush through a die 4. The reduction in the thickness of the rubber is of the order of 3 per cent.
