Abstract

579,890. Valve holders. BRITISH SOLENOIDS, Ltd., and TYRRELL, S. J. Nov. 17, 1944, No. 14568/43. [Class 38 (i)] A valve holder has contact sockets supported by insulating material within holes in a metal base which is formed by two superimposed metal plates 1, 10 the outer parts of which contact each other but one or both of which are dished to form a cavity or cavities in which the insulating material is held. Each socket may be supported by a separate insulator comprising a tubular part 2 located in the hole in the metal base and a peripheral flange 9 in the cavity, or all sockets may be carried by a single ring or plate of insulating material with projections extending into the holes in the base. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 571,599.
