[Class 20 (i)] An enclosure for protecting plants &c. comprises corner posts 1 which are driven into the ground and are provided with vertical slots to receive glass or other transparent sheets. The corner posts may be of angle iron with tongues 3 stamped out of each web to form the vertical slots. For intermediate support between the corner posts, flat stakes 6 with tongues 3 stamped out at each side may be used. The corner posts and intermediate stakes may have tongues 9 stamped out at various heights so that a horizontal glass &c. sheet may be supported at higher levels as plants &c. grow. The corner posts may have holes for the attachment of guy ropes and all posts may have holes at the top through which a cord or wire may be threaded to run round the top of the enclosure so as to retain the upper ends of the posts in correct relative positions. Holes may also be provided at intervals along each post for the connection of cords or wires to provide lateral support for the glass sheets. The posts may be formed of plastic material. According to the Provisional Specification the posts at each side may be coupled by diagonally disposed elements with tongues stamped out to interlock with tongues stamped out of the posts. The diagonal elements may have tongues stamped out to support each glass &c. at its central area. In a modification, according to the Provisional Specification, rigid wires may be used, the wires being hooked to the posts and formed with a coil at the centre to bear against the adjacent glass &c. sheet for support.
