579,601. Adjustable centering &c. VIGIER, W. A. De. June 1, 1944, No. 10551. [Class 20 (ii)] Telescopic beams &c. used in the construction of concrete floors &c. are provided at their ends with tongues which can be retracted into the beams by cams or eccentrics when not in use. The member a constituting part of a telescopic beam, has secured to it guides made of angle members f between which the plate e is slidable. An eccentric h carried in a frame i bolted to the main member, engages in an aperture g formed in the plate e. This eccentric is attached to a shaft k rotatably mounted in a bush l which is attached to the frame i. A pin m through the shaft k facilitates rotation of the shaft and eccentric.
