Abstract

576,348. Box handles. TROGMAN, W. Feb. 3, 1944, No. 2006. [Class 18] [Also in Group XXV] A box structure is held closed by means of projections 30, 31 which enter registering slots 23, 26 in the two box parts, a handle loop 20 engaging over a tongue 24 on one box part and passing through a slot 22 in the other part. The projections 30, 31 are bent over in opposite directions to constitute a closure, and a tongue 27 in the handle loop 20 is bent to form a smooth grip and stiffen the structure. The box is made from a one-piece blank folded as shown.
