Abstract
575,164. Gyroscopic apparatus. JACK & HEINTZ, Inc. Nov. 16, 1943, No. 19111. Convention date, Sept. 24, 1942. [Class 97 (iii)] In a gyro vertical for aircraft wherein erection is effected by pendulous blades 14 differentially controlling air ports 10, the swinging movements of the blades are limited by adjustable stops 24. The stops may be arranged to preclude complete closure of the air ports and may be constituted by adjustably bent-up portions of the bottom plate 16 of the hollow erection casing.
