572,847. Jumping toys. APPLEYARD, G. P. July 20; 1943, Nos. 11764/43 and 10721/44. [Class 132 (iii)] A jumping toy comprises a flexible shell, opposite sides of which are connected by a twisted cord B or spring E. An arm C is inserted in the loop of the cord and is secured by adhesive, suction cap or friction at its other end to the front lower side of the shell, from which it gradually loosens to flick over and propel the toy upwards. The arm may be slotted at its ends to increase the torsion of the cord. In Fig. 7, a wire spring has a hairpin E<1> forming the arm.
