Abstract
571,353. Garden hoes. AVERILL, R.S. Sept. 8, 1943, No. 14732, Convention date, Nov. 25, 1942. [Class 6 (ii)] Hoe-blades are adjustably mounted on rods 5 projecting from each side of a handle socket 3. The shanks 2 are upwardly inclined, so that the handle 4 clears the plants as the blades work along each side. Eyes 6 for the rods 5 are formed on the shanks, the ends of the rear rod being threaded to take wing-nuts 7. Flanges 1a serve as plant guards.
