[A Specification was laid open to inspection under Sec. 91 of the Acts, Dec. 30, 1941] [Class 1 (i)] A catalyst for reforming hydrocarbons comprises a crystalline aluminium hydrate and a minor proportion of an oxide of a metal of Group VI, particularly molybdenum, and is activated by heating to about 1200‹F.
