Abstract
567,783. Partitioned cartons. THOMPSON & MORRIS MANUFACTURING CO., Ltd., and PRIDEAUX, G. E. June 29, 1943, No. 10512. [Class 18] A partitioned carton for bottles, bombs, &c. is formed from the four pieces shown in Figs. 1, 2, 3 and 4, that shown in Fig. 1 forming a floor D and side walls C, E, the two portions B and F forming a lid and flanges A, G being adapted to be inwardly turned to form a partition. The portion shown in Fig. 2 forms an enclosing band, the sections K and H, N closing the ends and sections M, J reinforcing the sides C, E. The portions shown in Figs. 3 and 4 have their panels R, S inserted beneath the ends K and H, N to form a floor reinforcement, panels Q, T being turned vertically and bifurcated panels Y, W and P, O being turned over the top so that panels G, A may be passed downwards through the bifurcation. The end pieces are secured to the ends of the enclosing wall by wire stitching &c.
