567,143. Laminated wood propellers. HILLS & SONS, Ltd., F., and TAYLOR, J. L. Oct. 4, 1943, No. 16236. [Class 114] In a laminated wood propeller blade, the outer and shorter laminations 1, 2, 6, 7 which extend only part of the length of the blade from the root, are of uniformly higher density than the inner laminations 3-5 which extend substantially to the blade tip. The laminations 1, 2, 6, 7 are preferably of compressed veneered wood. Specifications 542,790 and 542,791 are referred to.
